Hav-Loc Private Wealth Partners - the new IFFL?
The Institute for Financial Learning, Merendon Mining, Milo Brost, Gary Sorenson, and their associated "structurists" have been well documented over the past few years to be part of an elaborate international fraud.
Click here for details. It now appears that many of the structurists who were once promoting the investments of the IFFL are now promoting a new company -
Hav-Loc Private Wealth Partners, Inc.
Reasons to be skeptical of Hav-Loc:1) Thierry Gevaert is listed as the the CEO of Hav-Loc. Gevaert was an IFFL structurist prior to the IFFL's dissolution. Hmmmm. So the IFFL was a scam, Gevaert promoted the IFFL as a "structurist", and now he wants me to invest in some other great money-making opportunities. I think I'll pass.
2) Another IFFL "structurist" has admitted that there are around 100 ex-structurists from the IFFL already working to raise money for Hav-Loc.
3) The leaders of Hav-Loc misrepresented themselves on their own website.Try entering each of the following names into google: Thierry Gevaert, Kirk Mosdell, and Susan Braun. Did you find anything that shows that they have the long and successful experience in the financial services field like they've claimed on their website? If these three leaders of Hav-Loc are as experienced as they say they are, why don't they simply list the companies that they've worked for, like other corporate executives?
Not to mention that
they apparently lied about their credentials! 4) All 3 investment opportunities promoted by Hav-Loc are (or were) registered through Ken Legasse, who was also previously connected to the IFFL! This brings up several questions:
First, why are these companies promoted by Hav-Loc as if they are independently researched and vetted investment opportunities when they are clearly not independent of each other or Hav-Loc.
Second, is it really reasonable to believe that one lone man simultaneously created three companies in three very different sectors (tax preparation, residential development, and international gold mining operations) that are all considered by Hav-Loc as good opportunities for investors? If that doesn't smell fishy, you can call me Ishmael.
If you are considering investing through Hav-Loc, ask yourself this question first: “
Do I really want to take financial advice from an organization that is staffed from the top-down by structurists who were just recently promoting the IFFL, a known scam?”
I’m not saying that Hav-Loc and its promoters are trying to scam you, but it certainly doesn’t look like a wise investment given the win-loss record of these structurists.
Don't take my word for it. Take the offering memorandums to your attorney or accountant and ask if these are good investments or not.
