Re: VISALUS - It's too good to be real!
Although the aforementioned Mr. Blair does appear to be a very intelligent young man and an entrepreneur, I think tales of his allegedly revolutionary antics in the broadband wireless market are slightly exaggerated. It appears he was simply smart enough to purchase a failed broadband firm in California for very little money, get it profitable, and then sell it to another larger firm for serious bucks. This makes him a pretty good businessman, a guys who knows how to make money. Which is fine and dandy, and for this we salute him.
And now he has apparently discovered yet another way to make money: by signing on as the CEO of a network marketing company from which he can act upon his great skills as a motivational speaker to get lots of minions to sell lots of stuff and increase his wealth. If you would be kind enough to visit this link:
http://myfuturevision.com/ourteam.htm , you will see that Blair and his other Visalus cohorts seem to be making a career out of public speaking, NOT network marketing (which is typical, and a good move). But they certainly are wise enough to realize that their motivational skills can -- and will -- make them a LOT of money if they can override the efforts of the people they "motivate" via their speeches. Never mind that the people they motivate are likely to never share in that wealth, as they do not possess those same abilities to move the masses.
You will also note that his two Visalus cohorts have indeed NEVER held a "real" job in their lives, as I previously pointed out. It was straight from college to MLM for them. Blair is another matter, as I said.
This does not make these guys inherently evil. This does not make them inherently stupid, either. But it certainly does NOT mean that anyone signing on with Visalus is gonna make dime-one with the company.
So it's hype, hype, hype. Promote, promote, promote. Take a small percentage of all the sales made by the millions. Move on and start the next company. That's a real plan for wealth -- for Ryan Blair and others like him. That part I understand completely. Hope you do as well.
