 Re: FDI International
Liberty Trade...search around this site and I'm sure you find somehting. Good for you for going to the source.
LT did what will get any rep cancelled - obligate their prospects to join something else in order to join them. In this case LT obligated prospects to join FDI in order to be in on their 'fantastic real estate deals.'
There have been a number of scoundrals like this. Including one guy from TV who teaches flipping and he was using FDI meetings to promote his biz. His new flippers were writing FDI on the checks.
When the law came down on both, FDI was a connection point but had no liability, no involvement.
How do I know? One of my GFs was an employee for LT, and the lead detective on the other called me for info.
Where some FDI reps burned in both? Oh yeah. So were non-FDI reps. (PPSST: There are other legal situations where people have used the good name of FDI to promote their own causes. FDI is still not liable.)
